We’re looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our corporate headquarters in Milford, NH. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a high-visibility, hands-on role supporting a multi-division organization with a strong track record of growth and stability.
As Accounting Manager, you’ll oversee daily accounting operations, lead a small team, and serve as a key liaison between division accounting teams and corporate leadership. You’ll have the autonomy to streamline processes, strengthen internal controls, and provide the financial insight that drives better business decisions.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee all aspects of general ledger accounting, month-end and year-end close, and financial reporting.
- Manage and mentor accounting staff at the corporate level, fostering collaboration across divisions.
- Consolidate financial statements and ensure timely, accurate reporting to senior leadership.
- Partner with the Controller and CFO to support budgeting, forecasting, and cash management.
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and corporate policies while improving efficiency and consistency across business units.
- Lead or support special projects related to systems upgrades, process automation, and integrations.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or MBA a plus).
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
- Solid understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and consolidations in a multi-entity environment.
- Strong Excel and ERP system skills; experience with multi-division operations preferred.
- A proactive problem-solver with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both finance and operations leaders.
