Job Title: Computer Hardware Specialist
Location: On-site in Nashua, NH (100% on-premises)
Pay: $20 - $22 per hour
Type: Temp-to-Perm (90-day temporary period)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Computer Hardware Specialist to join our team in Nashua, NH. This role will be responsible for the hands-on assembly, testing, and setup of personal computers (PCs) and related IT equipment for our business-to-business (B2B) customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of PC hardware components, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This is a temp-to-perm position with the opportunity to become a permanent member of our team after a successful 90-day temporary period.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble new PCs according to customer specifications and quality standards.
- Thoroughly test assembled PCs and related IT equipment to ensure proper functionality.
- Install and configure operating systems, software applications, and peripheral devices.
- Set up and prepare IT equipment for deployment to customer locations.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues during the assembly and testing phases.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow all company procedures and safety guidelines.
- Potentially assist with basic on-site IT support tasks for business clients (desirable).
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of demonstrated experience working with PC hardware assembly, testing, and setup.
- Strong knowledge of computer components, peripherals, and operating systems (Windows preferred).
- Proven ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Experience providing IT support to business or enterprise clients is highly desirable.
- Must be able to work 100% on-premises at our Nashua, NH location.
Compensation: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
