Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Tester for our client in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. You will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections, tests, and measurements to identify any faults, defects, or potential hazards. Your attention to detail and ability to interpret technical specifications will be essential in this role.
Responsibilities
- Conducting procedural tests on production product including incoming material needed to support customer need date
- Responsible for understanding and use of all test equipment, test fixtures, and procedures
- Maintaining security for all quality verification equipment and its calibration control
- Notify errors on procedures, drawings, bills of material, and router to the support teams (Quality, Manufacturing Engineering)
- Responsible for completing documentation (shop packs, quality test reports) accurately and timely
- Responsible for entering data into the ERP system accurately and timely
- Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues.
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues and clients as needed.
- Conduct routine maintenance and calibration of testing equipment.
- Assist in the development and improvement of testing procedures and protocols.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent / Minimum of 2 Years’ experience in manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and components.
- Proficient in electrical testing techniques and procedures.
- Two-year technician degree or equivalent
- Experience handling fiber optic related product
- Ability to use test equipment needed to perform tasks (Meggers, Ohm-meters)
- Ability to use optical test equipment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Compensation: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
