Description
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Staff Accountant 1 in Concord, New Hampshire. As a Staff Accountant 1, you will be responsible for assisting with a variety of financial tasks, including preparing financial statements, analyzing financial data, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting.  This is a fully on-site position.

In this role, you will work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely completion of financial tasks. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with other departments to analyze and interpret financial data, and provide insights and recommendations for improving financial performance.

The ideal candidate for this position is a self-starter with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. You should have a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently. Additionally, you should have excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with the preparation and analysis of financial statements
  • Help with budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Perform account reconciliations and assist with month-end close processes
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights and recommendations for improving financial performance
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely completion of financial tasks
  • Assist with external audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Support the accounting team with ad-hoc financial analysis and projects
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting or related field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks Enterprise software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to changing business needs
  • Knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting techniques
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain confidentiality
Compensation: $55,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
