We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant for a full-time temp to hire opening in Lowell, MA. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of document control, ensuring the accurate and efficient processing, distribution, and tracking of various types of documents within their organization.
As the Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and reliability of records and documents. You will work closely with engineering and sales to ensure compliance with document control procedures and standards.
This position requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in manufacturing or a related field and be proficient in utilizing document management software and systems.
Responsibilities
· Draft and execute engineering change requests, engineering orders, and laboratory work requests.
· Work closely with the engineering and sales teams to inventory and track product development and marketing samples.
· Assist in creating and editing written work instructions for new and existing characterization methods.
· Validate, publish, and maintain all controlled documentation that supports product development and engineering activities, including route sheets and material specifications.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s Degree preferred
· Minimum of 1-3 years of experience
· Proficiency in document management software and systems
· Strong organizational and time management skills
· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
· Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite
Compensación: $23.00 - $24.00 per hour
