Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Shipping Receiving in the Logistics and Supply Chain industry. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the shipping and receiving operations within our company. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a solid understanding of logistics and supply chain management.

As a Shipping Receiving, you will oversee the movement of goods, track shipments, and ensure timely delivery to customers. You will collaborate with various departments to ensure efficient coordination of inventory and manage any discrepancies or delays. Additionally, you will be responsible for inspecting incoming and outgoing shipments for quality and accuracy, and maintaining accurate records of all transactions.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate shipping and receiving operations
  • Track orders and ensure timely delivery to customers
  • Collaborate with departments to ensure efficient inventory coordination
  • Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for quality and accuracy
  • Communicate with vendors, customers, and internal teams to resolve any issues or delays
  • Maintain accurate records of all shipping and receiving transactions
  • Assist in the development and implementation of logistics strategies to improve efficiency and productivity
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in logistics or a related field is a plus
  • Proven work experience in shipping and receiving or a similar role within the logistics and supply chain industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office Suite
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to multitask effectively
  • Forklift certification is a plus
Compensation: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
